Systematic Door Identification, Condition Assessment & Maintenance Tracking
Most facility managers do not know how many doors their building has, which ones have open deficiencies, or when each was last serviced. The DoorIQ program fixes that. We inventory every door opening, assign a unique identifier, assess its condition, and build a documented maintenance record — all accessible through PlanGrid.
DoorIQ is built for facilities with 50 to 2,000+ doors: school campuses, healthcare systems, government complexes, and commercial property portfolios where door management has historically been reactive and undocumented. Priced at 5 per door.
Each door is assigned a unique identifier and labeled with a durable QR code tag on the frame. Frame labels with the same number are applied for visual reference without a device.
Every door opening is inspected and assigned a condition grade. Hardware function, frame alignment, seal condition, and code compliance items are assessed. Deficiencies are documented with photos.
Each opening receives a photo record tied to its asset ID. Door type, hardware, frame condition, and deficiencies are logged in the field at time of inspection.
All asset data is uploaded to PlanGrid — door number, location, grade, photos, notes, and deficiency log. Your team can access the full inventory from any device, tied to floor plans.
Each door is placed on a maintenance schedule based on condition grade, traffic level, and hardware type. Higher-priority openings are serviced first.
After each service visit, updated condition records are uploaded to PlanGrid. Your team has a running history of every opening — what was serviced, when, and what remains outstanding.
